Parent Classes
Taking an active role in your child’s speech and language therapy is the key to your child’s success. By participating in our parent education classes, families learn how to become active partners in improving their child’s ability to communicate.
RiteCare Spokane’s program provides families with effective methods and proven strategies to promote speech and language development. This is accomplished through observation and participation in therapy sessions, individual parent coaching, and group classes including lecture, discussion, videotaping, and individualized home assignments.
At RiteCare Spokane, parents can expect to:
- Learn critical techniques to promote speech
and language development;
- Understand the most powerful ways to help
children communicate;
- Effectively use everyday conversations,
daily routines and play to encourage
speech and language; and
- Play an active role in supporting a child’s
therapy and academic programs.
